David D. Parker has been in the structural restoration business for 30 years. When he decided he wanted a redesign of his website, he needed it to be search engine optimized. He was working with search engine specialist Gene O'Neal from ASEMC(Advanced Search Engine Marketing). Gene had some specific requirements concerning the placement of the text in the page. With that in mind, I came up with a site design using CSS styling. CSS is the next wave of web design. It allows for the separation of content and style, which opens a whole new realm of design options. In this instance, the result is a website that pushes the search optimized text to the front of the page, where the search engines want to see it. The web pages are also fluid, which means that they will fill the browser window regardless of the window size or screen resolution. If you need an old barn restored, or if you are interested in any aspect of structural restoration, visit the Parker Restoration website. |
